With over 25 years of hands-on construction experience, I approach every project with layout, buildability and the realities of construction in mind — helping you develop a proposal that works for your home as well as on the drawing.
What’s Included
Your Planning Drawings package takes you from the initial discussion and measured survey through design development to a completed set of planning drawings.
Initial Discussion
We discuss your property, what you'd like to achieve and any initial considerations that may influence the project.
Measured Survey
I'll visit the property and take the measurements and information needed to prepare the existing drawings.
Existing Drawings
Existing floor plans and elevations are prepared to accurately record the property.
Design Development
I'll develop the proposed layout with you, considering space, appearance, buildability and how the new work relates to the existing home.
Proposed Planning Drawings
The required proposed floor plans, elevations and relevant site/location information are prepared for the appropriate planning route.
Two Design Revisions Included
Your package includes two rounds of design revisions, giving you the opportunity to refine the proposal before the final planning drawings are completed.
What Happens Next?
Depending on the project, your proposal may require a householder planning application, another form of planning application, or it may be possible to proceed under Permitted Development.
I'll advise you on the likely route for your project and prepare the appropriate drawings. Where planning application submission is included in your quotation, I can also prepare and submit the application on your behalf.
Planning application fees and any specialist reports or third-party professional fees are separate unless specifically included in your quotation.

Guide prices are for the Planning Drawings service and are subject to the individual project requirements. Any applicable planning authority fees, specialist consultant fees and other third-party costs are separate.
